Custom Crane Solutions for RGM in South Africa
In December 2024, we at KoRo RIW were very proud to deliver custom crane parts for a high-capacity handling crane at a platinum mine in South Africa. This was part of the successful RGM Cranes project in Johannesburg, where precision, reliability, and innovation came together to meet the demanding needs of the mining industry.

Adressing the Mine’s Toughest Challenges
This project involved replacing an ageing crane. Our challenge was to create a new crane system that was almost identical to the three existing open-winch crabs, ensuring compatibility and minimizing disruptions. By closely collaborating with RGM Cranes, we were able to deliver a custom-built crane solution designed to operate continuously, 24/7, with minimal maintenance.
